Pepsi set out to craft a lighter-hued, lower-sugar, all-natural cola for Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

They invited Opinionated to name their new concoction and build a new brand with a tasty vibe that would make future generations curious to try it.

Pepsi is a brand with eras; Gen Z longs for a past they never knew and for a simplicity that once was. So we wondered, what if the future of Pepsi is defined by memory?

Spoiler alert: Pepsi didn’t buy our idea.

They’re a design company and we gave them hella narrative.

Whatever, I’m still thirsty for it.

We called the vibe Cola Lore.

Because when you reach for a Pepsi Amber Cola, you're reaching for a dream of the past and a hope for the future.

Our goal was to create more than a new cola for them.

We wanted to give the product a pulse, a soul and a story as irresistible as the soda itself.
